Every stock L3 has a distractive and damaging purple donut hole due to it being WAY overdriven. This is the first light where I mod to turn down power and replace the purple donut hole with a filled white hot spot as it should have been designed. The detune lost 50-75Lumen from stock but usability and longevity greatly increased
My Fav $454 W3vn+ Horizon 1150L 1Mcd, 2049m is quite bigger. The equally impressive smaller $275 W3vn 1050L, 725Kcd, 1703m is closer in size to this L3vn. The $200 L3vn 750L, 500Kcd, 1414m now slot perfectly below the 2 Weltools. If it was my money I am taking the L3vn Aluminum or Titanium over the W3vn! L3vn is THAT good! It's the must have LEP if you can have only one LEP at a budget. Budget minded or not it's just more impressive overall than even the impressive numbers suggests. $54 to upgrade from Al to Ti is totally worth it in this case.
Sleek body = a bit slippery
Short 18350 configuration is VERY compact
Pocket clip needs super glue to for solid stay onto body
So So User Interface: Momentary forward switch High-Low always starts in High if OFF >2seconds. Triple 1/2 press = Strobe.
