P60vn HCRI Mules Light Engines

P60vn or any P60 for that matter biggest advantage is the solid copper slug. No other light has the LED MBPCB solder bonded to such a thick copper heatsink for the most crucial heat bottle neck eliminated. On the other hand single LED reflector P60vn or any other P60 light engine to to be one of the poorest heat sinking design. The single LED MBPCB is either thermal epoxy or solder bonded to a tiny brass engine. Very small amount of copper can be added to the brass pill for any additional mass. Then a reflector barely threaded onto the brass pill as the leading thermal path to the body. Finally, only a 10mm section of that reflector actually conduct heat to the flashlight body via wrapped aluminum foil. Damn heat bottlenecks left and right. For this reason I almost never recommend a reflector P60vn. Triple or Quad with optics build upon a thick copper slug is the way to go for any P60 light. Sky Lumen designed 12LED Mule MBPCB and mule specific slug maximize CRI, heat handling, sidewall thermal heat path to body transfer and last but not least reduced the distance of the LED to the lens to a bare minimum for the widest beam and least lumen loss. The most useful source of light is the Sun. The Sun cast a 100CRI flat wall of light to make all of earth surface evenly lit. For this reason the most useful artificial light source should best replicate our Sun like a household light bulb or a P60vn 12 LED HCRI mule. Cheers!

All P60vn mule light engine has user programable DriverVN4 with a max input voltage of 4.2V. You will need a P60 host to house this light engine for a complete light. Email me if you need help.
